Technical Training Video - Telecommunications (Web-Based Training, 9 minutes) This technical tutorial describes a complex telephony
system that was manufactured and marketed by CopperCom. I worked for this firm from 2003 to 2006 as Manager of Documentation
and Training. I led the 6-person team in creating innovative user support products like this one, as well as Item
#4, the User Guide for the same telephone switching system.
"Converting Procedures to Tutorials," Presentation (Adobe Acrobat) I presented this program to the STC at several chapters at various times to describe
how video tutorials are similar to procedural documentation.
CSX Provisioning Guide, Release 2.3 (Adobe Acrobat) This 1000-plus page document gives detailed programming instructions for the CopperCom
CSX 1100/2100 system for small-market telephone companies. The audience includes telephone switching technicians and engineers
with in-depth experience. NOTE: This product is no longer available.
Curriculum Example: DonorSnap Tutorial (Web Pages) This is an outline and script for a technical tutorial I am creating for the on-line donor
management software, DonorSnap. The audience is low-level technical support personnel in non-profit organizations with
limited technical skill.
Training Video Example: Administering DonorSnap Users (Web-Based Training, 10 minutes) This is the online tutorial created with Camtasia Studio instructing
low-level technical support personnel in non-profit organizations how to administer DonorSnap users. NOTE:
I am a certified Camtasia Studio instructor and producer. For more information refer to http://www.personnex.com/camtasia.html.
WebHelp created with RoboHelp 8. This is a portion of the SnagIt Screen Capture help system I authored for TechSmith Corporation on contract.
It has been converted from the original WinHelp to both HTML Help and WebHelp version 5.5 using Adobe RoboHelp 8. Printed Documentation from SnagIt Help (Acrobat PDF).
